At this year’s annual Energy Gala, we recognized “true heroes” of the energy industry in the United States, and celebrated the 80th birthday of the NSWA.
The NSWA was founded in Tulsa in 1934 as the only national association solely representing the interests of the nation’s smallest and most economically vulnerable wells before Congress, the Administration and the Federal bureaucracies. We continue our sole purpose 80 years later, fighting for the rights and best interests of the small producer. We joyfully celebrated this meaningful anniversary.
This year, we honored Tulsa oilman Charles E. (Chuck) Harmon as our Hero of Industry. Our 2014 Legislator of the Year was Senator James Inhofe from Oklahoma. Additionally, our Distinguished Leadership Award went to Kansas producer Dick Schremmer, whose lifetime achievements in the domestic oil and gas industry continue to shine brightly.
Our event took place on the evening of Friday, April 25, 2014, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center. We were excited to return to our “roots” by having the gala in Tulsa once again.
Thank you 2014 Energy Gala Sponsors!
