Protecting & Promoting America's Oil & Natural Gas Wells Since 1934
Our Mission: It is the belief of NSWA that producers, owners and operators of marginally-producing wells have a unique set of needs and concerns regarding federal legislation and regulation. NSWA’s sole responsibility is advocacy on behalf of these small producers.
About NSWA
The National Stripper Well Association was founded in 1934 as the only national association solely representing the interests of the nation's smallest and most economically-vulnerable oil and natural gas wells before Congress, the Administration and the Federal bureaucracies.
Almost 1,000 members strong, our dedicated board of directors, staff and Vice President of Governmental Affairs represent NSWA around the country and on Capitol Hill every day, fighting for the rights and best interests of stripper well producers. It is the belief of NSWA that producers, owners and operators of marginally-producing oil and gas wells have a unique set of needs and concerns regarding federal legislation and regulation.
Our Members
The smallest oil and natural gas producers have benefited from NSWA’s advocacy on a national level for over 85 years, but we are only as strong as our members. With members in 30 states, from North Carolina to Hawaii, and international members in Canada, we depend on continued membership support to remain a viable and powerful voice for the American stripper well producers.
NSWA membership includes consulting geologists, petroleum engineers, landmen, lease brokers, oilfield service and supply companies, drilling and workover contractors, banks, investment firms, accountants, attorneys and royalty owners.
